Combining swing, gypsy and world music with the controlled chaos of vaudeville, The Woohoo Revue is a six-piece big band that offers a taste of the roaring 1920s. Formed in 2008, the band quickly developed a reputation for its high-energy live shows of flashy costumes, quick tempos, frenzied brass sections and accessible melodies. The ensemble released its debut album Dear Animals, in 2008, but its music is best experienced in a live setting where listeners can participate in the dancing, drinking and mayhem that accompanies The Woohoo Revue.
