Austin-based producer, violinist and singer Govinda combines a remarkable array of sounds to create something that's as spiritually cathartic as it is danceable. Classically trained on the violin, Govinda producer Shane Madden began to explore the world of tri-hop, dub and downtempo. Govinda now performs in an eclectic setup of live electric violin alongside a laptop of pre-programmed beats. A frequent headliner on jam band circuits, Govinda often brings belly dancers and live art to his larger performances, entrancing his devoted audiences even further into spiritual bliss.
