During the formative years of the English rock outfit James Cleaver Quintet, the group's bassist would often throw his instrument up into the air. This would occasionally result in bodily harm, when the bass would strike him - typically in the face. While this act of musical boisterousness doesn't really say much about the music, it does give clues as to who the people are that play the music. And that, my friends, is almost just as important. But in all seriousness, the band is dedicated to its craft and does not disappoint when it comes to putting on an engaging show full of performance quirks.
