The Basque Country of northern Spain is a geographic location that's steeped in cultural and and historical significance. Though the region has experienced a number of upheavals over time, there has always been a deep affection for music that permeates the area. This is probably best manifested in the Euskadi Symphony Orchestra. Playing a wide swath of material ranging from classical composers to some of the newer, hipper stuff has made the Euskadi Symphony Orchestra one of the premier classical groups in the world.
