Tom McDermott is a pianist and Composer from St. Louis, Missouri who dabbles in a number of varried musical styles but primarily specializes in jazz. McDermott began playing piano at age 6 and was playing professionally by the time he turned 16. After receiving his masters of music degree from Washington University in St. Louis, McDermott would move to new Orleans and become a noted fixture of the Dixieland and ragtime jazz scenes.
