Klute

Best known as label head of Commercial Suicide and as drummer for for the British hardcore band The Stupids, Tom Withers turned to electronic music in the early 1990s. Donning the pseudonym Klute, the DJ/producer began experimenting with techno and drum and bass, helping to forge the techstep movement. Though his songs tend to be more melodic and contain more vocals than most of his contemporaries, Klute still creates music meant for dance clubs and nightlife.
