Fats Kaplin

New York City-born, Nashville-based fiddle player Fats Kaplin is part of a lively bluegrass community that includes bluegrass talents like Kevin Welch, Kieran Kane and his frequent singing partner (and wife) Kristi Rose. Signed to Kane's Dead Reckoning Records imprint, Kaplin often collaborates with Reckoning's stable of artists, either acting as producer or just performing his fiddle magic on songs. That said, Kaplin's major musical work is with his wife Kristi Rose, and the two perform together frequently in and around Nashville.
