VERVA Warszawa ORLEN Paliwa is a men’s volleyball that competes in the CEV Champions League and the PlusLiga. It was founded in 1954 as KU AZS Politechnika Warszawska, a name that it donned for many decades. The team got its current name in 2019. It was the same year that it won Polish Championship for the first time. This, along with winning the CEV Challenge Cup, is considered as some of the team’s biggest achievements. Many skilled players like Aleksander Śliwka, Karol Kłos and Grzegorz Szymański have previously been part of this team. It plays its home games at the COS Torwar arena.
