Formed in 1909, EC KAC is an ice hockey team from Klagenfurt, Austria that competes in the Erste Bank Eishockey Liga. It is one of the most dominant clubs in the country and has several honors to its credit including an unrivalled 31 Austrian Ice Hockey League Championships. It achieved its first championship in 1934 and has since been unstoppable. Its home games are played at the Stadthalle Klagenfurt where fans have witnessed many heart-stopping encounters. Sepp Puschnig and Dieter Kalt Sr. are few of the club’s most distinguished alumni.
