A part of the exemplary Argentine outfit Boca Juniors, the Boca Juniors basketball team has its own rich legacy. Formed in 1929, it features in the Liga Nacional de Básquet and hosts its home games at the Estadio Luis Conde. One of the strongest clubs in Argentine Basketball, its long list of achievements include multiple Torneo Apertura, Campeonato Oficial, Torneo Metropolitano, Liga Nacional and Copa Argentina trophies. It has also clinched the 2004 edition of the Torneo top 4 and has shown continental dominance as well by winning three Sudamericano de Clubes. Players such as Pedro Aizcorbe, Alberto Dayán and Felipe Mattianich have represented this club.
