About
Italian rock band Unmask formed in 2006 as a four-piece outfit comprised of vocalist Ignazio Luppa, bassist Daniele Scarpaleggia, guitarist Claudio Virgini and drummer Dario Santini. After releasing a demo in 2007, the band began playing shows and festivals around Rome while developing a solid progressive rock style with undertones of ambient and psychedelic sounds. Unmask released its debut album Sophia Told Me, in 2010 shortly before adding guitarist Alessandro Lopane to its lineup.
