Being as an Ocean is a band from Alpine, California that blends together post-hardcore and melodic hard rock to create a distinctive style of music. Founded in 2011, the group released its debut album, Dear G-d..., in 2012. Having since continued to release LPs in addition to maintain a consistent touring regime, Being as an Ocean has distinguished itself as one of the more capable Southern California-based hard rock acts of its generation.
