Water Liars is a folk rock band from Pittsboro, Mississippi that's composed of two longtime friends and collaborators who made Water Liars' debut album by accident over the course of three days, appropriately naming the record Phantom Limb when it came time to release it in 2011. After developing a following and solidifying its sound with a succession of live shows, the band recorded its sophomore effort, Wyoming, in 2013, this time releasing the LP with complete purpose on Big Legal Mess and Fat Possum Records.
