The death-metal band Arise hails from Sweden. The five-piece band of rockers stepped out onto the scene in 1996, changing their name to Arise in '98, taken from a Sepultura album. Their thrash-metal sound has evolved over the years, maintaining a loyal fan base all the while. In 2005, two of the members left the band, and the band re-formed with three new musicians, continuing to bring their dark, metallic vision to audiences everywhere.
