Karmin is a Boston-based pop duo that rose to attention during the early 2010s with its cover versions of popular songs, such as Nicki Minaj's "Superbass." The band surpassed its initial Youtube fame with appearances on talk shows like The Ellen DeGeneres Show, and was quickly signed to Epic Records in 2011. Karmin released its debut album, Pulses, with the major label in 2014.
