Los Angeles-based outfit Cold Showers is mixes subtle electronics with heavy rhythms to create its post punk music. The band's shoegaze fuzz and drum-powered beats combines for an abrasive pop sound that was first exposed on its 2011 single Highlands. After one more single, Gold Showers dropped its first album, titled Love and Regret in 2012.
