About
Also known as Chet Faker, Nick Murphy is an electronic music producer who emerged out of Melbourne's deep disco scene in 2011. Mixing his acoustic past with electronica, he creates an electronic soul sound that is powered by narratives of loss and love. Murphy signed to downtown Records in 2012 and released his debut EP, Thinking in Textures, which earned him commercial and critical acclaim throughout Australia.
