English Britpop band Marion is one of England's influential bands during the early 1990s. Taking cues from the punk and and post-punk movements that dominated English music culture, Marion brought a decidedly brighter sound to the world of independent rock music. Decidedly more Smiths than Joy Division in style, Marion has captured an era in English rock music that has kept romantics and rockers loyal to Britain's scene for decades. The band has reunited to play reunion tours in the 2000s, and will tour Europ and the world.
