Extrawelt is the minimal techno music project of Hamburg, Germany-based artists Arne Shaffhausen and Wayan Raabe, who as a pair are also known as tech trance duo Midi Miliz. Extrawelt was created in 2004 when Shaffhausen and Raabe released "Soopertrack"and "Zu Fuss" on the UK's Border Community label, and having performed several times as Midi Miliz, the pair became known for its cohesive live shows. Extrawelt released its album Schöne Neue Extrawelt with the German label Cocoon in 2008.
