J.R. Patton is an R&B artist originally from McAlester, Oklahoma. Based in Dallas, he rose to fame with the released his 2010 single "Sound of Love," which became his first radio hit and generated a fair amound of attention for his debut EP of the same title. J.R. Patton's debut mixtape I Ain't Lazy Vol. 1, was mixed by Definition DJ Q and released in 2011.
