Returning to the stage after many years is songwriting duo Paul Collins and Peter Case, founders of seminal San Francisco punk and power pop band The Nerves, as well as The Breakaways, The Beat and The Plimsouls. A major underground force during the 1970s, the two were extremely influential on bands like Blondie and The Clash. Splitting to work on their own solo projects during the 1990s, Collins' band the Paul Collins Beat became an indie rock favorite, landing a song on the Caddyshack soundtrack. Announced at the start of 2012, Collins and Case will hit the road for US tour, covering hits from the duo's many musical projects.
