Terakaft

Translated to "the caravan" in its native Tuareg language, Terakaft is a group from Mali that plays a unique style of desert blues. Using four electric guitars, group vocals and nothing else, the band creates songs based around looping guitar lines, African tunings and repetitive strumming. The result is a hypnotic version of blues and rock that sounds entirely unique.
