About
The Shandy Mandies is an punk rock band from Leipzig, in the eastern part of Germany. The international band consists of four people, one British, one American and two Germans, and those playing straight forward rock' n roll, with a disposition to indie and punk rock. Basic influences include The Who, The Kings and more recent bands as Mando Diao and Hives. In 2010, after two years of playing shows throughout Germany, the band released its first album Pipe Dream Poetry its own label Amen records.
