Dead Black Hearts is an indie rock band based out of Austin, Texas. Claiming to take its inspiration from ambitious bands such as Radiohead and Led Zeppelin, the group's sound falls more in line with carefully crafted and instantly likable pop rock. Bouncy piano chords, vocal harmonies and plenty of guitar-driven hooks make songs such as "Postcard From Somewhere Cold" pleasant slices of modern indie pop that helped the band line up an appearance at South By Southwest in 2012. Dead Black Hearts' second EP, entitled The Southern Front, was released in 2010.
