Austin, Texas-based musician Michael Guy Bowman is a gifted songwriter who is able to work within a variety of musical genres, all while maintaining his quirky, often humorous pop approach. As a college student, Bowman became intertwined with Homestuck, a web-based comic that uses original music to go along with the interactive adventures of its characters. He's contributed a number of songs to the site and his playfully eclectic style, which incorporates warped Ween-esque pop, rock and singer/songwriter fare, fits the comic's tone perfectly. In addition, Bowman has also self-released a handful of solo recordings and was recently procured to perform at South By Southwest in 2012.
