Based out of San Francisco, Soft White Sixties is a five-piece with a penchant for the musical styles of the 1960s, as the band's name suggests. Melding elements of old Motown, rock and roll and psych, the group manages to be a flashback while maintaining a modern edge. After gaining popularity in its hometown, winning spots on Bay Area radio stations and in festival lineups, the group began to gain more widespread attention, playing SXSW and touring extensively, and seems to be on the brink of fame.
