Xavier Naidoo

Xavier Naidoo is a German singer/songwriter, producer and occasional actor. His styles are to be described as soul, R&B and sometimes inclining to rap and hip-hop. Naidoo, who's of Sri Lankan origin, grew up in Mannheim, then in the early-1990s he settled in the US and released his first album, Seeing Is Believing, under his artist name, Cobra. After returning to Germany, he released his first German speaking album, Nicht von dieser Welt, in 1998, becoming a great success. Xavier Naidoo is known for his soulful voice, his Christian lyrics and his involvement in many other music projects, such as Die Söhne Mannheims (The Sons of Mannheim) or Brother's Keeper.
