Comedian, actor and writer Bret Goldstein tells his own story in the critically acclaimed show Brett Goldstein Grew Up In A Strip Club. Without any sets, music or costumes, he illustrates his life as a freshly graduated young man behind the scenes of a strip club. After his father left his mother and sold his bookstore in favor of a strip club, 21-year-old Goldstein was taken along for the ride. The crazy cast of characters Goldstein describes includes an angry co-manager, a lesbian accountant, an ex-Chippendale Texan, a stripper and object of his affection who goes by the name The Bum, and of course his father, whose in a mid-life crisis of epic proportion.
