After meeting at the Art Institute in Chicago, Daniel Pineda and Asma Maroof formed production duo Nguzunguzu then migrated west to Los Angeles. Best known for its production work for M.I.A.'s Vicki Leakx mixtape, the duo has also remixed several prominent R&B and electronic tracks. With a style that blends old school R&B influences with Chicago house and EDM, Nguzunguzu has quickly started to pick up a fan following throughout US clubs.
