Moss is a Netherlands-based indie pop project formed by four friends from Amsterdam. Using bits and pieces from a number of modern styles, including driving rock and roll, sunny psychedelia and bouncy electronic-tinged pop, the group temporarily relocated to England before resettling in Amsterdam to work on its third record, Never Be Scared / Don't Be a Hero. The 2010 album presented the most concise and polished version of the band's rich vocal harmonies and instantly catchy hooks yet, winning it a number of accolades and awards throughout The Netherlands in the process. Sure to have a lot more in store in the near future, Moss is a band with the enviable ability to pen songs in a number of diverse styles while maintaining a cohesive sense of identity and fun.
