Based out of Oakland, California, Beats Antique crafts a unique style of music that blends Middle Eastern sounds with electronic genres including but not limited to glitch and dubstep. The trio has bolstered its reputation with live shows that capitalizes on the group's ability to incorporate live instrumentation, as well as belly dancing into its performances. The group often pits samples from Tin Pan Alley-era records against futuristic electro grooves to create an extremely danceable sound.
