Tony Furtado is a singer/songwriter, guitarist and banjoist whose innovative approach of playing blends together elements of jazz, Celtic and American folk music. Since releasing his debut album, Swamped, in 1989 Furtado has defined himself as a multifaceted talent with continued well-recieved album releases, an active performance schedule as fruitful collaborations with Bela Fleck, Alison Krauss and Earl Scruggs.
