Playing the saxophone like a modern day incarnation of a vintage jazz club blower, French-born Sammy Thiebault has made a name for himself by combining old world sounds with new world tones. The saxophone is undoubtedly an old school instrument, but by blending futuristic sounds with the erstwhile instrument Thiebault manages to produce innovative and extremely listenable music.
