About
For a good length of time, a giant parcel of land on the North American plains was inhabited by nomadic Native Americans who hunted bison. These people were called the Kansa--which means "people of the wind." When white folks marched west, towards the lovely Pacific Ocean, snatching up every piece of land they came across--claiming manifest destiny--they called this section of land inhabited by the Kansa, Kansas. Now, as most memories of the Kansa are all but gone, other cultural institutions like the Salina Symphony to entertain those living in the area. The Symphony plays interesting music and manages to impress audiences with intricate instrumental arrangements.
