Based in Brisbane, Australia, Regurgitator is an alternative rock band that weaves together elements of electronica, rap, rock, pop and grunge to create an experimental but accessible sonic aesthetic. Formed in 1993, the group earned a widespread audience with its 1996 debut album Tu-Plang, which also garnered critical accolades, including the ARIA for Best Debut Album and Best Alternative Release. Despite Australia's constantly evolving rock and roll landscape, Regurgitator has maintained a dedicated following and continues to release records of its rock pop sound, such as 2011's SuperHappyFunTimesFriends.
