Claiming to base its sound on "old, weird Los Angeles," The Allah-Las creates vintage sounding rock and roll, clearly influenced by early-1960s psych and British Invasion music. Formed in the back of an Amoeba Records store in Los Angeles, the group quickly built up a solid fan base in its home city while playing a residency at The Echo, eventually landing a spot on LA Weekly's "Local Bands Who Will Be Huge in 2012" list.
