Raised in a musical family, Gyan Riley (son of minimilist composer Terry Riley) began playing the guitar at an early age. Raised in Northern California, Riley received the first full scholarship to the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and immediately after, signed a recording contract to release his first album of solo work. Since then, Riley has performed at Carnegie Hall, toured Ireland and performed with several renowned orchestras from across the country.
