About
Atlanta-based musician Jamison Tyler Lyle and LA-based singer-songwriter Tim Daniel McEwan make up the synthwave band The Midnight. The two met in 2012 at a co-writing workshop in North Hollywood, CA. their mutual love for the synth genre inspired them to write two singles, "WeMoveForward" and "Gloria," that were featured two years later in on the EP Days of Thunder. Two years later, the duo released the LP Endless Summer, which reached number 17 on Billboard's Dance/Electronic charts in 2017. The Midnight's most popular tracks are "Sunset," "Los Angeles," "Jason," "Shadows," "River of Darkness" and "Vampires," among others.
