Jeffrey Lewis & the Junkyard band is the project of New York-based anti folk singer/songwriter Jeffrey Lewis. He teamed up with his brother Jack and musician David Beauchamp to release the band's debut album 'Em Are I, in 2011. Continuing the anti folk movement he emerged out of in the 1990s, Lewis has painted Jeffrey Lewis & the Junkyard with his signature self-deprecating humor and an acoustic punk songwriting style.
