Turun filharmoninen orkesteri, is Finland's oldest and one of the oldest philharmonic orchestras in the world. It was formed in 1790 and it is the third largest symphony orchestra of the country. Performances usually take place in Turun konserttitalo and the orchestra is well known for their recordings of Scandinavian classical music.
