Motion Potion (real name: Robbie Kowal) is a San Francisco-based DJ and producer who blends an assortment of genres together to create a sonic amalgam that's objective is to get the dance floor moving. Known for his love of funk, hip-hop and top 40 cuts, Motion Potion's mission to "put the part back into the party" is blatantly evident during his boisterous sets. Though Motion Potion has never truly broke onto the national music scene as distinguished remixer and DJ, he has nevertheless managed to become a prominent and integral fixture of the San Francisco Bay Area electronic music community.
