The Rain is a Christian rock band that emerged out of Finland in 1988. After solidifying a lineup, the four-piece outfit released its debut LP Kiitos Ja Anteeksi, in 1999, with a melodic, heavy metal-infused brand of hard rock. The record earned The Rain a devout following in its home country that has only grown with each of the band's subsequent releases, including 2008's Yhtä kuin voitto.
