Pedrito Martinez is a singer/songwriter, percussionist and dancer from Havana, Cuba who is known for his interpretations of traditional rumbas and Afro-Cuban folkloric songs. Since releasing his debut album, President Alien, in 2003, Martinez has kept active, releasing additional LPs, performing and collaborating with the likes of Bruce Springsteen, Paquito D'Rivera and Arturo O'Farrill. He has led the Pedrito Martinez Group since 2005. Some of his most popular tracks include "Loco Amor," "Cuba Isla Bella" and "Inhóspito Mundo."
