About
Based out of Woodland Hills, California, a suburb of Los Angeles, Runaway Kids is a four-piece that creates hardcore punk mixed with screamo and two-step. With lyrics inspired by the oppressive conformity of growing up in the suburbs, the band has found a large fan base that can relate to its breed of hardcore. Releasing its first EP in 2008, the band has since toured extensively throughout the US and dropped a full-length album in 2011.
