Formed in 1871, Exeter Chiefs is a rugby union club that competes in the Premiership Rugby. The club plays its home games at Sandy Park and despite being in the lower divisions for a greater part of their history the club finally clinched the prestigious Premiership Rugby crown in 2017. Apart from being the only club to have won all the top four division trophies in the country, the club is also one of the few that has competed in the European Rugby Champions Cup. Dean Mumm, Santiago Cordero and Nemani Nadolo are a few notable players to have featured for this team.
