Suedehead

Formed by UK musician Davey Warsop, of band Beat Union, when he was working as a sound engineer in a Southern California studio, Suedehead was spurred into a full-fledged band when Social Distortion asked Warsop to open for the band on tour. Quickly solidifying its lineup, which includes Greg Kuehn of punk band TSOL and Chris Bradley of The Distraction, Suedehead put together a set of songs and experienced enough success opening for Social Distortion to decide to remain a band. Since then, the five-piece has developed a characteristic sound that melds pub-rock with Motown into an alternative soul-pop hybrid.
