Raised in a musical family in Nashville, Sara Cox often sang three-part harmonies with her parents for after-dinner entertainment. After relocating to Portland, Maine, Cox decided to embark on a career as a singer/songwriter. With a penchant for storytelling, Cox developed a distinct style of Americana, with personal, heartfelt lyrics. Her musical stylings quickly found a home on non-commercial AAA radio and her albums consistently land on the Americana charts, marking her as one of today's respected female singer/songwriters.
