Spicks and Speck

Spicks and Speck was an Australian music-themed trivia show that aired weekly on ABC1. The show featured two teams with permanent team captains, comedian/actor Alan Brough and radio personality Myf Warhurst, that went head-to-head answering questions about music in various contests that incorporated singing, dance and an ironic brand of comedy. Hosted by comedian Adam Hills, the show ran for six successful seasons from 2005 to 2011, when producers announced that the seventh season of Spicks and Speck would be the last. The three main components of the show, Brough, Warhurst and Hills embarked on the Spicks and Speck-tacular farewell tour late in 2011 that commemorated the live music, satire and quiz-show format of the original show.
