The Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra is one of three major, per-service professional orchestras currently serving Florida's Orlando area and its surroundings. Founded in 1993 after the failure of the Florida Symphony Orchestra, the OPO was originally led by famed music director Hal France. The Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra boasts over 125 performances each season, and can be found regularly performing at their home in Symphony Square at Loch Haven Park.
