Seminaarinmäen mieslaulajat, or Semmarit, is a male choir, formed in Jyväskylä, Finland in 1989. The choir doesn't just sing regular choral works, classical or folk, but experiments with new ideas and breaks the rules of choral music intentionally. The group's music is pop influenced but it doesn't use background music of any kinds, nor instruments, but the sounds are made by the members of the group.
